Colours, alignment & background
This exports a picture. Colours and depth cannot be pasted as editable Unicode text. Up to 160 characters and eight wrapped lines; unsupported glyphs use your device’s fallback font.
Face, outline and depth do different jobs
The face is the part of the letter you read. Its two-colour gradient runs from top to bottom on each line. The depth colour fills the layers behind it, displaced down and right, while the outline separates the shape from a background. These controls change the exported pixels, so the effect stays with the PNG when you place it over a photo or video.
Start with Gold, Blue or Rose, then adjust the depth while looking at the spaces inside letters such as A, B and e. Heavy outlines and deep edges can close those spaces at small display sizes. A lighter depth often reads better on a phone thumbnail than the largest available setting.
Choose a graphic size that suits the overlay
The Letter size slider sets the drawing scale; the PNG uses twice that resolution. Long lines wrap rather than making an unlimited-width bitmap. Centre alignment suits a short title; left alignment is useful for a stacked caption next to a face or product image. Newlines make deliberate breaks, and the tool shows an error rather than exporting more than eight wrapped lines.
Transparent output leaves the area around the letters clear. Light and Dark backgrounds make a self-contained label. The preview checkerboard is only there to show transparency and is not included in a transparent export. The pixel dimensions under the preview describe the actual download, including the margins and raised edges.
Sans lettering uses a system font, so its outline can differ between devices. Serif lettering uses the site’s bundled Cormorant Garamond font. Unsupported glyphs may still use a device fallback. A PNG freezes the result from the browser that generated it; it does not make the same font available to someone editing text in another app.
A PNG effect is not a printable 3D model
This tool draws an extruded-looking title into a flat image. It does not produce STL, GLB, OBJ or geometry for a 3D printer. If your project needs an object with a physical thickness or a mesh you can orbit in a scene, an actual modelling tool is required. For thumbnails, presentation titles and stream overlays, a PNG is usually the output you place directly into your design.
If you need a bio that stays editable, use the copy-and-paste font tools. For square-edged game titles, use the pixel title maker. For soft connected strokes rather than raised block lettering, try the handwriting generator.
Frequently asked questions
Can I paste the colour and depth into a text field?
Plain Unicode characters do not carry the gradient or raised edges. Download or copy the PNG where your destination accepts images.
Can I download an STL or GLB?
No. This page makes 3D-style PNG artwork, not a three-dimensional model.
Why is image copy unavailable on my phone?
Image clipboard support and permissions vary by browser. Use Download PNG if Copy image is unavailable or denied; no account or upload is required.
