Size, spacing and alignment
Drawn with Great Vibes by Robert E. Leuschke and others, an open-licence typeface. PNG and SVG are pictures of the text: it can go on a photo, a card or a document, but it cannot be pasted as text, searched or read aloud.
Why outlines matter when you move a design
An SVG can contain editable text that asks the next application to find a particular font. When that font is missing, the application may substitute another face and change the width, joins or flourishes. This exporter instead shapes your words with the bundled font and saves the visible glyph contours as paths. The letter shapes travel with the file. You can enlarge them without enlarging a fixed grid of pixels.
Your text and the font processing stay in this browser. The fonts and the outline engine are downloaded from this site; your words are not sent to a conversion service. A download contains the lettering in its title as well as the visible paths, so check the file before sharing private names or messages with someone else.
PNG for a photo, SVG for resizing a design
Use PNG when an app expects an image sticker, an email signature picture or a slide image. Transparent background leaves the space around the strokes clear. The preview displays the exported pixel dimensions; increasing font size also increases the PNG resolution. Keep a separate plain-text version when a reader needs to search or hear the words.
Choose SVG when the receiving editor accepts vector files and you want to resize the lettering. Ink color, alignment, line spacing and padding are carried into the download. The maximum line width wraps long messages; explicit line breaks give you control over a greeting or a sign-off. Outlined letters are shapes rather than editable text, so change the wording here before downloading again.
A filled outline is not a welded cutting file
Connected script letters can visually overlap while still being separate contours. This tool does not union those intersections. If a cutting workflow requires one connected silhouette, inspect the file in your cutting software and use its weld or union operation where appropriate. Small counters, narrow joins and delicate flourishes also need checking at the intended physical size.
A pen plotter may trace both edges of a filled letter. These fonts are not single-line plotting fonts, and SVG export does not turn them into one. The file preserves the font outlines; it cannot promise a particular machine’s cutting or drawing result. Test a small sample before committing material.
When a character has no outline
Each typeface covers its own set of characters. Try accented names directly and compare the four fonts. The editor warns when a chosen font lacks a character. A PNG may show a system fallback, while SVG refuses unsupported characters instead of silently replacing them with a box. Try another font or keep that part as ordinary text in your design application.
